Britain’s only mountain bike race meeting dedicated exclusively to youngsters takes place in Lotts Wood, near Amersham, south Bucks on Sunday, 14th September. Sponsored by Bourne End cycle shop On 2 Wheels, the mini festival features sprint races for five age categories from under 8s to under 16s plus an action-packed relay race for all ages.

08.30-09.30	Rider registration
09.00-09.45	Practice
10.00	Under 10s (three laps) & under 8s (two laps) races
10.30	Under 16s (four laps), under 14s (three laps) & under 12s (two laps)
11.30	Presentations
12.00	Relay race for all age groups
13.30-18.00	Coaching with Claire Muir (extra £7.50)

There is only limited capacity for registration on the day, so we are asking everyone to pre enter by sending an email stating the rider’s name, date of birth and club/team name to summitmtb@gmail.com
Pre-entered riders then pay their entry fee - £7 for Under 16s/14s/12s and £5 for Under 10s/8s - on the day and collect their race number. The event starts with sprint races on two courses. Riders aged under 10 and under 8 will race on a 1K mini course, whilst under 16s/under 14s/under 12s will race on a 3.5K XC course. Once all races have been completed and the riders had a short break to catch their breath, the Relay Race will start on a short course to encourage multiple baton changes and action-packed racing!
