Visit from Jim Rogers, MDCC's Norfolk Rep

Jim Rogers paid a visit to Peter on Saturday morning along with son Mark and grandson Adam. Malcolm also came along. Jim moved to Norfolk 10 years ago after serving on the MDCC committee in several posts for the previous 10 years. He also took over the newsletter editorship after Jim Burgin left the club. Mark also rode for the Club for several years and both still keep up their membership.

The main reason for the visit was for Jim to drop off his Harry Quinn track bike which the Club has bought as it's first 'Club Track Bike' for use by any members who don't own one. It's 50cm and we hope to use it mainly for our juvenile and junior members at our Palmer Park sessions.

Jim also dropped off some material for the expanding Club archive. So it's a double thanks to Jim and we hope to see him later in the season at 1 or 2 of our '10's' on the Bath Road.
