Cyclo-cross training

Graham MacNamee (the BC Region Coach) is running a series of cyclo-cross training evenings at Hillingdon each Friday:

There will training at Hillingdon again this Friday (26th Sept). Meet up by the containers at 6.00pm or as soon as you can make it after work. The gates will be open or you can park in Goals. Sessions will run till around 7.30 - 7.45pm. [AS: For first time visitors, satnav to UB4 0LT.]

We will be doing Cyclo-Cross skills on the grass areas and on the tracks left by last weekend's cross race until dark. We will then move on to the circuit to do some group riding. So bring a set of lights.

Mountain bikes are available to loan for the offroad bits if you need one. Also we are starting to build up a stock of cyclo-cross bikes for newcomers to try before they go to the expense of buying their own.

Any riders are welcome, whatever your level of fitness or experience.

For your information the next event in the new Central Cyclo-Cross League is :
Sun 09 Nov 2008 Hemel Hempstead CC, Longdean School , Rumballs Road, Hemel Hempstead HP3 8JB

This event has a fantastic new course in the school grounds. It's got every feature you could ever want and would be a great race to cut your teeth on. There will be a training session on the actual course on the Saturday.
