David Addaway Trophy and Sportive Trophy
The last two trophies to be decided for the 2009 season have gone to Peter Bell and Robin Smith.
Peter Bell won the Best Member award after a Club vote while Robin topped the Sportive Trophy with 448 miles. Well done to both of them.
We were particularly pleased to see the Sportive Trophy well supported with 11 members taking part in Sportives this year. Second was Neil Campbell with 427 miles and third was Ian Blatchford with 406 miles. Full results here http://www.maidenheadcc.org.uk/sportive.html

The meal including aperitifs and wine is only £30 [ the Club is partly subsidising the cost to keep it to this amount]. Darryl Webster is Guest of Honour. I will be sending out details of where to find the Masters' Common Room and parking arrangements next weekend.
Club Reliability Trials
Our Club reliablity trials will be taking place on the following dates:-
Sunday, February 14th 80 Kms
Sunday, February 21st 100 Kms
Sunday, March 7th 125 Kms
These distances can go towards this years Sportive Trophy. More details of start times and routes nearer the time.
Sue Bennett-Snewin
MDCC lady member Sue took a fall while out riding on New Year's Eve. It meant a visit to casualty and treatment for cuts and bruises, one to her head as she wasn't wearing a helmet. Sue is OK and recovering. We hope to see her out on her bike again soon.
