Chris Heape takes MDCC Club '30' Championships

Chris Heape took the Club '30' championships this afternoon with an excellent ride of 1:10:35 at his first attempt at the distance.
Today's Club '30' championships was run on the same course as last weeks '100' championships but in hugely different conditions, last week was hot and dry, this week was wet and cold.
The expected challenge from Joe Francis was washed away with the rain when he punctured late in the event while level with Chris on time . Simon Greenland obviously happy to be back on the course after last weeks win produced a cracking ride of 1:11:50 to finish second in the Champs. and also come second in the event on standard.

Go-Ride Session
Our Go-ride coaches Paul and Nigel, with Peter on hand to help, ran the first of a series of Go-Ride sessions at Cox Green Leisure Centre today. Although rather low on numbers this afternoon, because of clashes with other events, the children that took part enjoyed it immensely and their bike handling skills visibly improved by the minute. Next session is next Saturday afternoon and Club members are reminded these sessions are free for their children.
