District Update

The London West DC meeting was held on 11 June. No major news regarding MDCC, although the request for a traffic count on the A4 was repeated.

The National 10 mile TT has been offered to LWDC for 2009. Unfortunately there are no courses in our Club's area suitable for hosting this event (2 days of events with a sufficiently large HQ for a full field of riders plus spectators). The most likely courses are H10/8 and H10/3(?IIRC), with the clubs most local to those roads organising the event.

UPDATE 26/6: Just heard that the 2008 event levies are £2 for Open events and £1 for Club. This increase was not mentioned at the last AGM & the DC are querying why the NC deems it necessary.
