Derek's and Paul's Charity Ride / Last '10', Come for a Drink! / Clubnight

Derek Raises £1000 and Paul raises £1100 for the Prostate Cancer Charity
Derek Cockerton taking part in the Tour of Britain Stage 5 Charity Ride did a magnificent job raising almost £1000 for the Prostate Cancer Charity. This took place in the hills around Stoke-on-Trent and he completed the 90 miles including 2000 metres of climbing, 2km at 17%, at an average speed of 15mph.
As Derek often says, " Absolutely Awesome". Well done Derek.
Paul Hartigan had to cry off Sundays event with a chest infection. He has raised a massive £1100 for this worthwhile charity and is going to ride the Tour of Britain Charity ride on the 19th September to make up for it. A fantastic piece of fund-raising Paul. MDCC sends it's warmest congratulations to both our riders.

Norfolk Rd, Maidenhead, 8pm-10pm.
