MDCC Results in National Circuit TT Champs

Simon Greenland takes third in National TT Circuit Championships
MDCC's Simon Greenland continued his run of excellent form by taking third place in his age group in the British National TT Championships on a rolling course NW of Quainton this morning. His time of 51:29 for the 20.8 mile testing course was exceptional and Maidenheads & Dist CC would like to offer it's warmest congratulations to Simon.
Also competing in the masters category was Peter Weir who produced a strong ride of 48:38 despite having time off for injury recently. He finished 13th in his class. See below.

Danuta Tinn riding for her A3crg team, but second claim to MDCC, riding a course that isn't completely suited to her style showed her work at increasing her cadence over the season has paid off with a fast 53:26 on this demanding course. She finished 17th, and as second counter she enabled her team to finish first.
Winner was Emma Pooley, Olympic silver TT medallist, in 46:11
