MDCC v. HWCC Inter club '10' , Tuesday, 11th August, Longwick

Having recalculated the total times for our 8 riders v. High Wycombe's 8 riders the results come out a lot closer than originally thought [unless I've slipped up some where] with HWCC only winning by 32 secs.

If it hadn't been for Pete Weirs's injury meaning he wasn't going at his usual pace, Paul Hartigan being stuck behind a horse and cart for most of the course and HWCC being thoroughly unsporting and putting up a lady to ride against us we would definitely have won.
JUST IN: How about this for an absolutely unbeatable excuse from Nigel Shurben who claims he was absolutely 'flying' on Tuesday night only to be delayed by a glider at a roundabout.
