MDCC Club '50' Mile TT Championships

SIMON GREENLAND, CLUB '50' CHAMPION
Simon Greenland produced a terrific ride yesterday to win the Club '50' Championships breaking Joe Francis's domination of the event for the first time since 2005. Peter Weir was unable to ride leaving a three way fight between Simon, Joe and Ed James riding his first '50'

The Bath Road course, one of the most famous in the country having had events run on it for over 100 years produced what must be one of Simon's best '50' times ever, the only disappointment being that he didn't break 2 hours, finishing in 2:0:15. Joe continues to have a season which hasn't been his best produced 2:9:20 and Ed finished third in a very creditable 2:24:16.
