MDCC Week End Results

National GHS Final
Robert Tinn produced another personal best at the GHS Final south of Birmingham on Saturday afternoon to finish in 25:37. He was placed third in his age group [13 years].
Andrew Richardson produced one of his best times this year to finish in 26:19.
Well done to both of them for representing our Club so well.

World Triathlon Championships
MDCC's Mark Dewey successfully completed the World Triathlon Sprint competition in Brisbane Australia on Sunday. His total time for the 3 events was 1:20:07. He finished in 57th place in his age group. It's good to see MDCC being represented on the other side of the world. Ripper Mark!
Also taking part was TVT's Choc Harris who taking part in the Olympic distance produced 1:7:36 for the 40km cycle, her best placed section [24th] to finish 48th in her age group. TVT's Sharkie Jaggard finished 15th in the same event.

A3crg '10' , Andover Wheelers Weekend
Robin Smith still trying to beat his personal best this year produced a fast 21:51 in this event while Danuta Tinn finished in 22:49, an OKish ride she tells me but a time 95% 0f the Club would be very happy with.
Pete Weir riding the '10' and '25' at Andover reports that conditions were quite breezy so super fast times were ruled out. He was happy though, considering the conditions, to produce 20:22 for the '10' on Saturday and 55:08 for the '25' on Sunday.
