The 30 mile time trial championship was decided at Reading CC's Hilly 31
last Sunday morning. Part of the Ruddy Project national time-trial series,
the event covered a two lap circuit around the villages west of Reading. The
last minute cancellation of the Border CA 30 meant that the Championship had
to be moved to the Reading event with little notice, so the six Maidenhead
riders who entered the competition were under-prepared for the tough climbs.
However, three of them won spot prizes of wine from Fine Wine Services.

Maidenhead Results:
Simon Greenland (1:28:34)
David Lightbourne (1:29:16)
Peter Perrin (1:32:36)
Andrew Payne (1:32:48)
Nigel Shurben (1:38:27)
Gurpal Panesar (1:53:22)
