Club Dinner and Prize Pesentation

Many thanks to all those who attended the Club Dinner and Prize Presentation yesterday evening all helping to make it a success. Also thanks to Brian who organised the evening at relatively short notice. Major prize winner was Joe Francis who I hear on the grapevine arranged for Pickfords to get his trophies home this year. It was a great pleasure to have our president Tony Deadman there to present the awards after a very difficult year healthwise.

Looking for a New Clubroom

The Committee is currently reviewing the use of the present Clubroom. We feel a larger room with better facilities might make it more attractive to members. At the moment we only get an average of 6 members down there on a Friday evening.

We are looking at several different sites and if any member can recommend a particular hall or would like to contribute ideas about what they would like to see in a new clubroom please contact a committee member.

Membership Fees Due / Club Dinner

A reminder to Club members that Membership fees are now due, payable to Malcolm [ treasurer ]. Cheques to " Maidenhead & Dist. CC " Members are not covered by the Clubs insurance if they have not paid their fees.

The Club Dinner and Awards Presentation takes place at Elva Lodge Hotel [ top of Castle Hill ] on Friday 23rd January. Meet in the bar, 7.30pm for 8.00pm
