Gorrick series (27 Jan): Venue Changed

From Gorrick website:
"Unfortunately, the Army manoeuvres that are currently taking place on the training area at Tunnel Hill will not be finished by the weekend, so we have been obliged to change the venue to the DERA / QinetiQ Test Track, The Maultway, Bagshot. Races will start 15 minutes later to allow people to travel to the new track..."

If you were thinking of entering this event, make sure you go to the new venue.
See also Mac's training weekend - still meeting at the canal basin on Saturday (as that's where everyone was expecting), but may need to transfer to a different location at the start.

CTT Handbooks available

The club has bought 10 handbooks and is offering them to members (who've paid their 2008 subs) at the discounted £6.50 rate. Contact Andy, or pick one up at the next club meeting (25th Jan) or at the dinner (8th Feb).

Summit MTB Series dates

From Wycombe Summit club:
"We would be delighted if some of your members came along. We always race on Weds evenings with the course open for practice from 18.30 and the racing starting at 19.30. We have two starts, one for serious racers and a second start 10 mins later for the Fun racers. The racing usually lasts an hour or so.
The dates are as follows:

• 21st May
• 11th June
• 16th July
• 6th August
• 10th September (night race)

Go-Ride Winter Sessions

British Cycling Central Region are running Mountain Bike and Cyclo-Cross training during January for all youth, junior and school riders. Newcomers to the sport are very welcome to come along to give it a try. There will be more advanced groups for experienced riders.
